This second week introduces the other 7 Laws of Health for your Therapeutic Lifestyle Change. You will:
- Continue to learn how to use your TLC Score Card.
- Get an overview of each Health Law for the Lifestyle Component of your TLC Program.
- Determine your Weekly Schedule, which is critically important for future planning purposes.
- Experiment with a few simple lifestyle changes to help you start moving in the right direction.
Lifestyle Component
The other 7 Laws of Health: Rest, Water, Air, Sunlight, Exercise, Nutrition, Temperance. Each day:
- Watch the short video and complete the worksheet for 1 of the 7 Laws of Health.
- Use the 24-Hour Schedule worksheet to indicate how you spent each hour of your day.
- Make an effort to get 7+ hours of restful sleep at regular (the same) hours each night.
- Make an effort to drink a glass of pure water upon waking up.
- Make time to take a couple of walks for at least 10+ minutes each.
- Write the number of Points you earned for each Element described above.
- Notice that you can earn up to 2 Points per day for walking (1 point for each 10 minutes).
- At the end of the day, add your Element Scores to get your Total Daily Scores for the Lifestyle Component.
- Add your Daily Sores for each Element and divide the Row Total by 7 to get the average Weekly Score for each Element.
- Add your Total Daily Scores and divide by 7 to get your Lifestyle Component Score for the week.
