- Deep Breathing: A simple technique to calm down and regulate your nervous system.
- Sensory Grounding: Engaging your senses to bring you back to the present moment.
- Cognitive Reappraisal: Changing the way you think about a situation to alter your emotional response.
- Journaling: Writing about your feelings can help you process and understand your emotions to keep them in their proper role and balanced.
